This hood was designed for race car applications but can be used on the street. It includes molded in hinge mounts for hinge application if desired. Base of scoop is fully molded in for maximum strength. Snorkel top is a separate part, but is included. Hood pins are recommended for the front attachment.

This hood is designed with extra clearance for your high rise carburetion. Overall height is 7". This hood features the same strong inner bracing as the stock hood, which includes a cross brace to support the front of scoop. Base of snorkel is molded as part of the hood thus eliminating cracking.

Light weight and strength are built into this fully hand laid fiberglass trunk lid. Minimal inner bracing is laminated to the underside, to allow some rigidity yet keep weight low. Fiberglass doors can reduce the overall weight of the car by over 100 lbs. These doors feature a full inner structure for easy mounting of your original hinges and latch. Lexan windows are recommended. Flange provided for mounting Lexan. Original door panel upholstery can be installed. Not recommended for street use.

Designed with the popular 69 Camaro cowl induction scoop, this hood will bolt to your stock hinges. CH-891 has provision for bolting to hinges 'and' using front latch.

Features internal flange to mount hood, built in front bumper (68 style), grill blanked off. Clearance for chrome/emblem fasteners, extra wide flange in wheel wells, ends of bumper flared inward, under side-front has 1/2 belly pan, flange across front for mounting hood dzus, headlights recessed and flat for decal or original light, slight recess for front marker lights, location for mounting eye-brow chrome.

This front end is "engineered" for race! Standard color is gray, available in black.
