| Installation Tips: The Coating on these lexan windows has factory applied film to protect the surface during installation. It is a water based film and is easily removed by peeling. Any residue can be removed with hot water. Any holes that need to drilled should be drilled larger than the screws to prevent stress cracks. For installation into doors, we recommend fabricating an upper frame from 1/4" steel rod bent to the shape of the outer edge of the window and welding tabs every 4" for attaching the lexan. |
